Don Ricardo Spurs
The Ricardo Metal Manufacturers company started making spurs in the 1930s in Denver, Colorado and then Victoria, Texas.
They now considered to be one of the finest makers of Cowboy Spurs and their punchy spurs are highly collectible. Often decorated with flower type motifs such as clovers, these steel or aluminium fancy spurs will make a great addition to any collection.
Often mounted with bronze or silver over nickel plated brass, the spurs were stamped in various different places with the word RICARDO or DON RICARDO (in script writing). Other spurs were stamped DON RICARDO and NICKEL SILVER.
